Treasures among Treasures

You can now find our chocolate bars in a wonderful shop called OKO. OKO has made the cross-river journey from NW Thurman to re-open their doors on the East side among other jewel-box shops on 811 E. Burnside. We are so excited to have our chocolate intermingling with all the radiant vintage jewelry shop owner Lisa Mangum brings in from all over the world, including from trips to Eastern Europe. Visit them and treat yourself to a wearable treasure and then snag one of our edible treasures, so you can glow inside and out.

Oko means eye in many Slavic languages so in honor of our new friend today in the kitchen we are listening this jazz version of “Очи чёрные” or “Black Eyes” by Django Reinhardt

Vintage dresses and Chocolate – a wonderful pair

One of our favorite parts of any holiday is that it is just an excuse to come up with something extra special, something that will make you grin. This year, in addition to the Heartbreakers, we are teaming up with adorable vintage guru at Shop Wanderlust. This Saturday, February 13th from 10 AM – 1 PM together we are hosting a chocolate tasting event, with 10% off all vintage and coffee supplied by the great people of CREMA Coffee and Bakery. But as if that wasn’t enough, we made limited run of hand painted dark chocolate bear truffles. Just look at these cuties:

Seventy percent dark chocolate, raspberry ganache, and strawberry popping candy. It is like having champagne, chocolate, and berries all together, which would be our personal dream diet. Limited edition of 20, each in their own heart shaped home, only available Feb 13th at Shop Wanderlust!
